
CHRIS EDDLESTONE
PARTNER
Chris is the self appointed wise man of BH Group keeping an eye on the activities as a non executive director using his wealth of experience in the hospitality sector to advise on strategy and to help use his bank of knowledge and contacts to identify new opportunities. Chris is also a director and shareholder of four other companies involved in the hotel and leisure sector, he is the founder of Annual Hotel Conference and founder of Adsertor a data analytics company.
In addition to his non-executive role with BH Group, Chris has had a very successfully career as a solicitor over the last 35 years he has held senior positions in a number of the major legal practises in the UK, currently he is the Global Head of Hotels at Squire Patton Boggs.
Chris is a consummate sportsman and is regularly found on the golf course honing his handicap, which explains his year round tan or he is indulging his passion for Burnley football club.
He is a life member of MacMillan Cancer Relief and a member of the North West Leaders Committee of the Princes Trust. He has also worked for the NSPCC.
During his time on the committee as either chairman or member of committees he has helped in raising over £3 million for charity.

JAMES HOULSTON
PARTNER – PROJECT PROCUREMENT AND FUNDING
James is the founder and managing director of BH Group, he has over 15 years experience developing a wide range of commercial projects and has worked with a number of the major funds throughout the UK. Prior to BH Group, James worked for Business Homes working up the ranks to become managing director, where he took the company from a small business in the North to a nationwide leading developer of small commercial space. Between 2000 and 2010 he developed 42 projects totalling 1.3m sq ft.
Having studied Estate Management at Oxford Brookes, James qualified as a chartered surveyor and worked with some of the major surveying practises including King Sturge, Lambert Smith Hampton and Jones Lang La Salle.
A keen sportsman, James does a lot of running and keeping fit and when time allows, loves indulging his passion for golf and skiing. Most weekends are taken up with his family, he loves nothing more than watching his son playing football and rugby.

ALASDAIR MACCONNELL
PARTNER – PROJECT PROCUREMENT AND FUNDING
Alasdair has over 23 years board level experience gained at two of the most active and successful property companies in the UK; CALA Group (where he was Managing Director of CALA Properties and a member of the Group’s Executive board) and with the Scarborough/Teesland organisations.
Alasdair has a successful track record in commercial property, creating profitable organisations and ventures by developing and leading executive and project teams, negotiating and securing finance from major funds and banks, and bringing complex projects in on time and on budget.

ROD GOODSON
CONSULTANT – PROJECT PROCUREMENT
Rod Goodson is a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer of many years standing. Having started his career with Truscon in Liverpool in 1961 he progressed successfully through a range of consulting engineer practices, becoming Associate at H L Waterman & Partners and Partner with Deakin Callard & Partners. In 1993, he successfully negotiated the acquisition of Deakin Callard & Partners, Edinburgh office and formed his own company – Goodson Associates. He retired from Goodson Associates in 2004, leaving behind him one of the few independent and highly regarded engineering practices in Edinburgh. The firm continues successfully today.
His experience encompasses all aspects of design across the full spectrum of civil and structural engineering. This diversity never more evident than when, in 1988, following the Lockerbie disaster, he was appointed consultant to Pan-Am to mitigate losses resulting

NIC RIGBY
REGULATORY CONTRACTS
Nic is a Fellow of the Energy Institute and a Chartered Engineer with 35 years of experience in the energy industry. He previously worked for Low Carbon Contracts Ltd setting up their contract management team. Nic is responsible for energy related commercial matters and associated regulatory management. Nic is also an adviser to Carbon Connect the All Party Parliamentary advisory group.

JEANNETTE BUCKLE
MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
Jeannette Buckle has worked in the environmental sector for over 25 years. She has experience in waste management solutions, various environmental technologies and development of large infrastructure.
Specializing in stakeholder engagement she chairs and/or facilitates various stakeholder engagement initiatives, develops communication strategies and project manages their delivery; including stakeholder engagement events, exhibitions, managing risk, advises on reactive or proactive PR strategies for Waste Management facilities including Energy from Waste and provides detailed support within the planning process for applications.

ROGER FERGUSON
WASTE PROCUREMENT
Having spent 30 years in the waste industry Roger has occupied senior roles in major waste companies and consultancies. In those roles he has covered everything from medical waste to RDF/SRF and energy from waste projects. Roger’s role is to ensure the effective supply of contracted waste into the EfW plants being developed by BHEG.

JOHN TERRILL
FINANCE & FUNDING CONSULTANT
John is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in the waste sector for many years, providing consultancy services to organisations in the waste sector in relation to all aspects of waste projects, from bidding, through achievement of financial close to ongoing management of construction and operations. He has advised and worked with teams that successfully achieved financial close on the Derby City & Derbyshire waste procurement, having originally provided consultancy for the project under which it was appointed preferred bidder. Prior to this he was instrumental to achieving financial close on the Wakefield PFI project and provided advice on the BDR PFI which closed in 2012.
